Call your congressman and tell them you support -- The Better Use of Light Bulbs Act, better known as the BULB Act If you want to enjoy actual lasting lightbulbs- The Incandescent Lightbulb! Because otherwise they are being legislated out of existence. The lie about the life of compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL's) And what they don't tell you! Don't tell me your concerned about the enviornment GE and GV and other makers. Because you make a bulb that will have a life span of possibly 5+ years with a ballast that only last hardly a year! What a load of shit! If the environmentalist are so concerned about energy they should A. make the company make a ballast with the life span of the bulb. Which will reduce the "waste" of energy producing the bulb, and will eliminate a large amount of energy spent recycling these. B. companies need to stop lying on packages saying the bulb last 3-4 + years or listed hours when they do not!
